Gulshan Radio is the first and only Asian radio station in the city of Wolverhampton (UK) broadcasting with a significantly large Punjabi listenership. This listenership primarily belongs to the Doaba region of Punjab. Wolverhampton has the second highest percentage of Sikh residents living in England, as per the 2011 census with the first Gurdwara built in 1966. Wolverhampton also holds an annual Vaisakhi mela with thousands of people attending the event.

Gulshan Radio can be heard on 106.9FM across Wolverhampton and surrounding areas broadcasting in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English languages with content that reflects the interests, needs, richness and diversity of the communities we serve.

Gulshan Radio provides local, national and international news updates throughout the day, every day. We provide hourly news updates in Punjabi with special news reports with the latest happenings in Punjab. Gulshan Radio has wide-ranging support from a host of local community organisations, businesses, charities and the public. We also have backing from MPs, councillors and religious institutions.

Gulshan Dhingra is the chairman of Gulshan Radio

Gulshan Dhingra, Qualified Broadcaster, post graduated in Indian Theatre from Punjab University, Chandigarh.

He worked as an Actor and Director in Indian Prominent Media such as Doordarshan (Official broadcasting media in India).

Also broadcasting throughout India Radio Jalandhar.

Gulshan worked a lot in Theatre and in the UK also worked as a station manager in UK, with different prominent UK Radio Stations.
